Devin Gossett, French Horn

Devin Gossett joined the Richmond Symphony Orchestra as Second Horn in 2019 and joined the faculty at the College of William and Mary as Horn Instructor in 2022. Previously, he served as Principal Horn of the Peoria Symphony during the 2018-2019. Devin has performed with orchestras across the country, such as the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Lyric Opera of Chicago. He can be heard on various recordings including the live recording of the Lyric Opera of Chicago’s production of Elektra (2019), as well as the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s album Strauss (2022) and the Grammy nominated album Adès Conducts Adès (2020). During summers, Devin has been a member of the Tanglewood Music Center, Verbier Festival Orchestra, Lucerne Festival Academy, and Spoleto Festival, USA. He earned his Master of Music at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music and his Bachelor of Music at The Ohio State University. His primary teachers include Gail Williams, Jon Boen, and Bruce Henniss.
