Deborah Saidel, Flute + Sax
Deb Saidel is a seasoned woodwind performer and educator, earning her undergraduate music degree at Virginia Commonwealth University and her Masters in Flute Performance at Geogia State University. She is also an interdisciplinary scholar with a PhD from VCU. Dr. Saidel is a versatile musician: Classical flute soloist, Chamber Music player, Orchestra member, Pit musician -reeds, Jazz, World & Folk Music performer. As an instructor, she has expertise in individual training on flute, saxophone, clarinet, group lessons and sectional rehearsals, leading chamber ensembles, facilitating student recitals, audition coaching, improving sight reading skills, improvisation, and music theory and history.
